Certificate for mobility

The Certificate of Mobility is a quality certificate that enables projects with a proven standard of high quality to undertake more long-term planning. As from the Call for 2010 onwards, it will also be easier for certified organisations to apply for subsidies.

The European Commission established a study group consisting of representatives from the National Agencies Leonardo da Vinci – mobility. Fourteen countries are participating: Poland, Portugal, Sweden, France, Ireland, Italy, Denmark, England, Belgium-Flanders, Austria, Finland, Hungary, Turkey and the Netherlands.

The study group has been working on the procedures and forms for Certificates of Mobility.

A separate Call takes place each year for the submission of applications for this type of certificate. With regard to the Call for 2009, the NA LLP Leonardo da Vinci will grant a certificate to a maximum of five projects under the IVT programme segment.

On 26 November last, an information meeting was held by the NA LLP Leonardo da Vinci, which provided more details on the conditions to be met to be eligible for this type of certificate.

Thematic Monitoring is an activity which has been successfully financed by the Leonardo da Vinci programme through recent years. About five groups, consisting of the National Agencies from the several participating European countries, inventorise the achievements made within a certain field and promote the exchange of knowledge about the topic at hand, by organising seminars for instance.
